This measures the texture of the product.
It assesses and quantifies the tension, stiffness, and flexibility of the products.
Results have already been demonstrated in numerous laboratories.
- Using the pure bending test, rigidity and recovery of paper, non-wovens, and fabrics, when bent, can be measured.
- The difference of treatments can be measured (surface treatment, softening treatment, etc.).
- The measurements can be completed in about 20 seconds.
- The analysis of data, for the purpose of reading the rigidity when bent and the instantaneous recovery strength, is easy.
- The value measured by this device is the same as sensory assessments. (It uses measurements adjusted to the sensitivity of human fingers and measures minute areas.)
