This tester not only handles fabric, paper, nonwovens, thread, hair and other sheet-type and fiber materials, but it also allows you to measure surface friction of particles and creams as well, and display these measurements as numbers and graphics for analysis. By quantifying the change in average friction coefficient, this device uses objective data to assess the performance of products, which previously had depended only on subjective sensual assessments like roughness feel, smoothness, and slipperiness.

  • Developed to quantify the senses of the fingertips, this product reads data only within the frequency range that can be sensed by humans. The sensor imitates the fingertips in detecting load and surface, offering highly accurate sensitivity in linking with sensory assessment and giving the product sure output.
  • There is a choice of sensors, allowing users to select the one right for their testing needs and change them if necessary.
  • There are seven levels of friction speed, allowing users to magnify and measure differences between samples.
  • Various types are available according to the subject of measurement.
