KATO TECH, which has long led research and technology development in tactile evaluation, and Professor Kenjiro Takemura from Keio University, a leading figure at the forefront of tactile research, joined forces for this presentation.
Starting from the history of tactile evaluation with the KES® Kawabata Evaluation System, this presentation introduces the evolution of tactile evaluation up to the new technology QUANTITEXTURE™, which is based on human tactile mechanisms, as well as new possibilities in the automotive field.
The talk also focuses on sensory evaluation, an essential component of tactile assessment. It introduces the tactile evaluation application TEXTUREVAL™, which supports not only simplified sensory testing but also the organization and analysis of results, and proposes a practical evaluation approach that bridges physical measurement data with human perception.
KATO TECH welcomes participants from all industries who are interested in tactile evaluation.
