(Headquarters: Minami-ku, Kyoto, CEO: Atsuko Kato), the manufacturer and sales of the KES® hand feel testers, has successfully relocated its Shanghai office to the Shanghai Haoshin Technology Co., Ltd., our distributor in China (Headquarters: Shanghai, China, CEO: 李忠诚) in February.

Our NDG5, designed for measuring the puncture strength of separator films for lithium-ion batteries, has been delivered to leading separator manufacturers across China, Korea, Japan, the United States, and Europe, serving as a critical quality evaluation tool. The demand for KES® in the automotive industry is also rising, with its applications extending to various departments such as interior and exterior materials, focusing on luxury, comfort, durability, and quality inspection.

With the relocation of our office, we aim to bolster the sales of KES® testers in China, a nation renowned for its textile production. Collaborating closely with Shanghai Haoshin Technology Co., Ltd., with whom we have cultivated a robust relationship over the years, we are committed to adapting to the evolving industry needs and offering solutions that align with both our customers’ requirements and the capabilities of KES®.

Established in 2009 as a trading company of DAIEI KAGAKU SEIKI MFG. co., ltd. headquartered in Kyoto, Japan. Since 2016, they have partnered with Kato Tech to distribute Kato Tech’s products, provide technical support, and offer after-sales services primarily to textile, automotive, and nonwoven manufacturers in China. They maintain close cooperation with Chinese research institutes and inspection centers, providing meticulous support and reliable services to their clientele.
